Offline any class can cast spells, but only Forces can use rods. There's a fair few differences offline that make your character a wee bit more versatile, but I'm still looking forward to online.

i know they could cast sp0ells, but do the spells lvl up?

Yes they level up. Offline I believe any and all photon art levels max out at 30. Lemme check... *flips some pages* ...Yup. Offline any and all photon arts you know will max at 30.

to get a PA past 30 online you have to be an expert job, i think (anyone who played the JP version, correct me if im wrong)

so if im correct your level determines your abilities etc?

All the Photon arts(skills,bullets, and TECHNICs) gain exp as you use them, so if you use a skill often, it will lvl pretty fast. There are different exp amounts needed for each PA to lvl up though. As a rule of thumb, the more enemys it hits, the more exp it needs to lvl.

but whenever you used a certain gun itd level up slowly
