i loved the music and the cds you could buy i bought jusy to piss people off haha it was well funny but to me what made PSO and will make PSU is teh multiplayer onlien community i think sega knew this is what people loved tahts why they added rooms and stuff for peopel to chill out in and ahve game parties lol but seriously what over games do you have good memories from .................. exactly and that is hwta makes it so great.
Well to be honest I have met some rather interesting individuals on games such as Midnight Club 3: DUB Edition, and Kingdom Under Fire: Heroes, but that's another story.

Surely you can do that though with the Extra mode using your Common Box?

Graphics schmaphics!

PSO rules with it's SEGA Dreamcast graphics, and it's all about the Multiplayer - I really didn't see PSO as a single player game actually come to think of it, although i do remember the times when i played through it offline when i first got it alone fighting that f**ker falz! :O

This game is unmatched in greatness. Simple. The whole online element of the game. There is always something to do, be it c-mode, a forest to falz run with a good team, desperately trying to solo a PW4 with no deaths lol. Slaying Olga Flow in solo, always a laugh, and then battle mode. I admit offline loses it shine eventually, and becomes far too easy at 150 plus with the right equipment. Best game i have played since frontier elite 2(so im otaku lol).
Sega, give us a Wii dedicated Phantasy Star, pretty please?

Yes, that's one amazing thing that I love about PSO. There is always so much to do! You can almost never finish everything; plus if you finish every single quest or challenge on one character, make a new one! There's always something new in the land of PSO!
P.S.-- Sadly, there's no common box in extra mode. It really sucks, but yeah. I wish there could be one, that'd make starting new characters a HECK of a lot easier!
Well PSO was one of the best game i play because of the multiplayer. Me and my brother play it all day long!! I just love showing my brother my cool weapon and saying "Haha you suck compare to ME"!!! In PSU my brother don't really play it because no multiplayer.....
nomercy Wrote:Besides, i've noticed glitching in places now, too, and i'd rather not shell out the £30 to buy a (pre-owned) copy again. I have better things to put my cash to use for. So I don't feel it's the greatest game, i've found others tha have better occupied my time. Added to the fact there aren't any voices in PSO, and the music to me is annoying as hell.
i love pso music, and no voices at all makes the game diferent for sure.
That's true too! The soundtrack is amazing, even if you just wanted to go into the sound test mode in the options menu (or pop it in your music-player you lucky-duck soundtrack owner!) And the fact that the game has no super duper long cutscenes with voices and enhanced graphics and whatnot really makes it quite enjoyable!
Oh yeah, I love the PSO Soundtrack, I just wish I had it on my PC or CD as I dont own the game anymore

.
The downloads on the main site don't work now either...
Which main site?
The PSOBB game comes with a music folder with all the tunes. PSOBB's a free download too.
(I hope they still have the music folder. They had it when I downloaded it when the game first came out.)
