Hi! I recently bought Phantasy Star Online Episode 1 & 2 for the GameCube and was wondering if I could actually get online? Because i was on wikipedia the other day and it said the servers shut down a while back?
Any info appreciated!!
PSOGC is still up and running. I would suggest that Wikipedia was talking about the US PSODC servers.
Yes you can play Gamecube PSO online. To play online you'll need to purchase a Broadband/Modem Adapter for your Nintendo Gamecube console (Try eBay).

Thanks for the info guys!!
I've heard it doesnt wok with AOL though. Is this true?
Also I'm still oin dial-up (Living in the past i know) so is it worth gettin PSO online?
With psu out I think alot of people are moving over to it, personally I would try and get psu on-line rather than pso. Think there is a way to get aol broadband to work, think you need a modem/router that connects directly by itself with an ethernet port to link the modem/router to the game cube. They might be able to help you with that, probably try and sell you x box live but it connects on the same way as a game cube with a network adapter does. Probably best to phone which ever isp you go with.

PSO online isnt worth it anymore. From what I've heard its completely deserted too.
And also it's hacked to hell

Err....no, it's not - None of the hackers are there either, obviously, as - what's the point eh?
And they're not completely deserted, there's still a fair few people online during peak times, and there's always a fair few Japanese players on!

how deserted do you mean, a pso team only needs 4 people.
