when only playing offline on psu is it possible to change ethan's (main characters name i think??) apperance as in face or clothes

In Story Mode you can change his clothes, nothing else. You need to get to chapter 6 or 7 (can't remember) to do this.

In Extra Mode you make your own character.

so if i understanded you when u reach chapter 6 -> 7 u can change his clothes ONLY. and when extra mode is unlocked u can completely recreate him.

just to verify b4 i get excited is this OFFLINE mode

Extra and Story mode are offline early. In Extra mode you play through all the free missions, but there is seemingly no story to follow (although the Story Mode NPCs you unlock may accompany you into free missions). You use your very own character here, not a recreated Ethan. There are no cutscenes.

Story mode is jsut that, it tells the story of Phantasy Star Universe. You can't re-create Ethan here, but you can change his clothes.
