ok i just started on chapter 7 and made my way out of the linear line platform and i dont know where to go next, my character said i should go to my room i've been there and nothing.
Did you talk to Pete? Sometimes you've got to chit-chat with Pete in order for the story to continue. Also, if all else fails, go to the Guardians headquarters on the top floor and talk to whatshername that always tells you about your missions. (The girl at the front desk whom doesn't change your class).

Try checking your Vision Phone. Maybe you'll have a mail or something that'll push the story on.

Yeah... that's really what I meant about talking to Pete... cause using her P-Machinery functions doesn't count as actually talking to her. XD (Why'd Ethan name a partner machinery that's quite obviously female in nature, Pete anyways? He's suck a dork. XD)

Because he's a dork, that's why. Any worse and he'd have I R IDIOT tattooed on his forehead.
Why does the main character always have to be the most annoying in these types of games? Chrono Trigger had it right by making sure the main character says so little, that you don't have to get annoyed at them. XD
But if you notice, most main characters start off as jerks or total prats, then throughout the game they 'learn more of the world' and care / become better people.
Well... Ethan's always has been and always will be a dork. XD
