Hello.
I was wondering a few things about the contest.

It sounds like it has to be about PSU, and not PSO... I don't own PSU (which is why I wanted to enter) so I don't know much about it to be doing fan art. :>

Does it have to be hand-drawn art, or could it be just screenshot collages?

hrm... are you limited to one entry per person?

... how could you do PSU fanfic if you don't own the game? Man, this is an odd contest.

Hehe, to enter the competition you need to either send us a piece of FanArt (Not necessarily being hand-drawn, there's many other ways of making art! Though it's normally something not in-game) or a FanFic/Short Story via. the competition entry pages.

Across the internet (For instance on the official PSU website or here) there's lots of in-game images for which you can adapt into a drawing of some kind, or you can look up character art from somewhere across the internet and then adapt that into a drawing! It doesn't necessarily have to be completely PSU either, as long as it's loosely connected to PSU, that'll do fine (E.g. it could be a picture of what you'd like your character to look like in online PSU, or it could be something to do with phantasy star space/items/weapons/etc since a lot of PSU includes parts of the Phantasy Star series, not just PSO!)

The FanFic/Short Story on the other hand could be just a very short story about an adventure you'd like to have loosely based around PSU (E.g. it could just be anything that happens to take place in the gurhal system/on one of the planets - Even if it's not actually in the game, maybe there's another planet no-one knows about?). Maybe it's a short story about a character again that'd you might create in the online game of PSU, (e.g. the character's background/previous adventures and what he/she's gonna do in PSU with their PS skills!).

There's lots of possibilities as far as entries to the competition goes, and we decided that holding a FanArt/FanFic competition to win PSU at a website such as ours where everyone that uses the website/forums is heavily interested in the game/series will already know a fair bit about the game to be able to produce something amazing fairly easy! It doesn't have to be accurate to PSU, just based on a PSU theme! And if you're not sure what the game's about, be sure to check out PSUniverse.net's official game review, screenshot pages, FAQ pages, downloads, etc. to get some more ideas flowing in the creative minds that i know everyone has

I hope I have a chance of winning. Maybe if I had more time I could actually draw something decent, but I think I'll have to rely on a wallpaper colage to enter. =(

another question: what timezone compared to GMT does the contest end? and is that Monday night or Tuesday night? (I'm guessing Tuesday, but you never know. I think technically midnight is the next day, so technically monday at 11:59pm would be the deadline)

If it helps confusion matters, ill extend the competition by 1 minute so that it ends at 00:01 Wednesday morning GMT

I guess your right, there is a great prize in the end, infact, 2 great prizes. I wonder if I land on one =D
