Nope, my friends pre-ordered it, he says about christmas but he said he could be wrong. He's getting Xbox Live soon to play it online.
There have been several delays, i think. It is probably going to come out like fall of 2004.

my brother plaus halo, he has it for the computer and the xbox, i dont knwo if he has xbox live yet. i think he might he plays counterstrike online on the computer, not sure if he plays it onli9ne on teh xbox..id have to ask him that sometime slol

In my xbox mag it says Halo 2 is cummin out in November...
