My first rare that i found was a delsabers right arm. It helped me a lot at lv 20 some.
I used to be a greenill, I think I found an inferno bazooka in the v.hard ruins, and I beat Falz with it!

I just found a hero ability yesterday from a nar lily. As for the inferno bazooka, forget that.
The first rare that I ever got was an M&A60 VISE. A Very underestimated rare mechgun, but it is really strong. I got it with my old OLD character, Heero, who I used when I was not online yet... wow..those were the days, back when I was kicking with a DB's saber and a M&A60 VISE. those seriously mustve been my most fun days on PSO, back when I was happy to get a pretty weak rare.

too much free time, maybe?
Actually it takes me roughly 30 secs to get that info from a big pso resource that has drop charts for all modes.
