Any word that a Phantasy Star will be coming to the Wii? I for one hope we get one.
Considering how long it took for Sega to make a new version of Phantasy Star after Phantasy Star Online... I'm gonna say no.
It would be a good way to get more custom, though I certainly hope that it'll have better installments than PSU, because the lag on that is dire.
It wouldn't really pull more custom. Nintendo seem to pull the majority of their business through their 'trademark' games. Such as Mario, Zelda, and Metroid. The Casual gamer will look at a PS game, and go "obscure japanese RPG, pass."

It's not as mainstream as some'd like, unfortunately.

That, and the Wii doesn't have any voice commands, or keyboards or the like. (as far as I know) There might be an offline one, but they're gonna have to come up with one hell of an intuitive battle system to make it sell.
What if they let us use the GC controller? They're going to use the GC controller for Brawl, why not for a Wii PSO?
Well I guess it's feasable.
They're gonna use the GC controller for Brawl? Yuck. I read somewhere that something like this'd happen, where only nintendos in-house development games would use the nunchuk and remote, and the rest'd probably use the Gamecube controller. Looks like they were right. =[

I honestly can't see it happening though. Not being pessimistic or anything.
so then whats the deal with the "classic controler" is that better to get then the GC controler or does the GC controler allow you to play more of the games coming out? i thought brawl was going to use the classic controler
My theory for SSM Brawl is that it may allow 2 types of control:
1 - Wii Controller
2 - Game Cube Controller

::On Topic::
If it does go onto the Wii console then expect lower quality graphic or anything low because Wii is more leaning onto gameplay than graphic. Not say that Wii is total leaning towards gameplay leaving you with stick characters, just that they lean onto game experience abit more.
There already IS a pso for the Wii.

You just need to take it out of the gamecube first. ^_^;;
