My PM is now at level 100, with stats level 70, and still she does very little in the way of fighting.
She uses a shot and twin guns at the moment but hardly ever helps out.
Anybody else using their PM??
Also does the g440 pure amour PM use Techs?? I read that she should be casting resta at some stage as well as using the guns.
My 420 offline does a bunch of fighting, but also takes loads of damage. I can't tell you about online or 440s though, but I do know that she's the one I want online, and I'll get her no matter how she fights just for the fact that I need an armor PM! I think it probably varies between PMs, but I think the one thing they're all supposed to have is resta.
Well she was fairly quick to make and didn't cost a thing, so guess I shouldn't complain. Just have to see if she improves over the next 30 levels of training. I'm going for the striking one next on my human, who will become a WarTecher when I'm done.
All NPCs, including PMs, can use Resta when in danger, but it's still rare. GH440 is helpful because she can shock monsters.
I'll be aiming for the 420 for my first online PM. I realize this means her stats are gonna be a little bit balanced (in my case 45 Striking 10 Range 25 Force and 20 Armor), but I'm making her for fighting. XD Soloing can be rough when a ton of powerful enemies spawn, so it'll be nice to have an aggressive distraction.
Mine doesn't yet. >.> Only level 4 though. Taking ages to level up because i'm trying to lave cash for S-Ranks at the same time as making a ranged PM.
If you're only playing offline then it only takes around 200,000 meseta to raise a PM to level 30. And 200,000 meseta is easy to come by offline... XD Just buy a whole load of handguns and force-feed them until she's reached level 30 and you're all set. XD
That's what i've been doing. And failed synth jobs, and stuff I find... Ugh, it's so slow though.
I didn't even realize it was that much! Just at a certain point in my hunter-ness, I kept taking on the Demons Above quest over and over and spending a little over 20k of the collected meseta from that buying 2 star weapons for her. It was fun, seeing how far she could get! I'm going for a 450 now... just to see how she is offline.
What PM types are there, anyway?
