Hmm... faith that will get some people only so far. To get more people to believe in what you do you need facts, plain and simple.

Gods aren't anything because god don't exist. They are what people make them, and primitive people's at that. Do you know why 1 cannon, 600 Men and 6 horses were able to slaughter the entire Aztecan Empire? Because the Aztecs deemed the Spanish as Gods washing up on their shores.

I wouldn't say that, science doesn't have an answer to everything. And only one being can answer the ultimate questions.....Why are we here? or What's the meaning of life?

But: Science has the best answer. It's the only field of study on the face of the Earth that attempts to falsify it's own bs.

I can give you the ultimate answer to the ultimate question by posing a question in return. What if it turns out that Io, one of Jupiter's moons, has microbial life in it's vast ocean? Then we aren't special, there is no reason why we are here, we are here by chance. That is all. Is it so hard for you to think that you have to have a reason for existing, that there is meaning to your life? Are you so self-righteous as to think for an instant that, in retrospect, your life means anything? I'll tell you now that it doesn't. Gods were created to explain the unexplainable. Science does the same with proof. Christians think far too highly of themselves. Get over yourself, really. -_-;

Now that was a little harsh. . . I too believe some get too over their heads, but yea. Not all of them do that.

About the ocean. YOU OR SCIENCE CAN'T PROOVE THAT! If you WENT there and brought back a sample of the water, that might be a different story. You can't believe Nasa anymore. Computer animation is so advanced that they can just say: THIS IS IO! IT IS AN OCEAN! NOW BOW DOWN TO THE SCREEN AND SAY IO! Not the last part, but still, they can do that. (The MARS reinactment. Ring a bell?)
