My copy of PSO for the gamecube has a defect in it and prevents me from doing some of the levels and some of the quests. I was wondering if I got a new copy if I would have to make a new charater or if i could just use my old one on the new game.
A new copy of the game should fix it. your memory card has all your character data on and can be used on any copy of the pso disc

Well it's not hard to find copies here just don't expect it to be new.
I've never seen a copy in a shop except for my own. Which I have now sold. T_T
Yeah the only copies around here are used. I have yet to see a new copy under 50 dollars.
Aw, sorry to hear your disk's broke.
Though in my case it's my Gamecube that's breaking more than my disk.
Wow, that is so expensive! I live in UK and I see it occassionally in GAME and Gamestation for £18-25, although it shouldn't be allowed to be sold because if the Hunter's License number thing has been used already, how can the second owner go online?
Should probably ask them about that if you see a second hand copy. Servers won't be closing until April, wasn't it?
I can't help but smile a bit remember that I got a fresh new copy of PSO+ at Wal-Mart for $20... XD They had like... 20 of em, and this was around 2 years ago... XD
