OOOOH! *jumps up and down* Tell me a good myth. . . one about the squirrel that runs up and down Ygdrassil (think that's the name of the ash tree and I don't remember who the squirrel is. . .).

Hmm I don't know about that one but I do know the one where Odin gets eaten by Fenrir.

Odin gets eaten by Fenrir? But isn't Odin FATHER of the gods, so if he gets eaten, wouldn't it be bad?:S

There are myths about gilgamesh one is of him being a demigod with superhuman strength who built a great wall to protect his people from invaders.

If I remember corretly odin lock fenrir away because of some prohecy about Fenrir bringing death to the gods.

I like the Nidhog . . . Hels pet? I know it's the serpent that gnaws Ygdrassil, but its origins are unknown.:S

It was because Fenrir was so powerful and they could not bind him. They used iron and gold chains, and he easily destroyed both. So then they used the opposite of all the elements to bind him. The almost of a touch lover, a sigh of the wind ect,ect.

That is in Ragnarok, but as the myths go at their telling, hasn't happened. But that is what the prophecies fortell.

I like when Thor and Loki go a giant killing. Just off on their merry way...just killing things.
