not if your dfp is good and if you do it right they'll won't get to attack.
I don't really use Mech gun because i just use a rifle. Mech gun are good for weak boss or vhard mode.
ya most of the time i use my yasminkov 3000R+60 or my stag cutlery and my meteor smash is very usefull on vhard ruins but i still like my yasminkov9000M.

me too, but the reason i do that is because in ultimate i miss alot, not even a mech with hit % can hit the criatures in ultimate
I don't use mechs yet, I have no rare ones to merit use. I just go nuts with my Suppressed Gun. 
not true my hucast has a m&a60 vise and i don't miss that much and it has75% hit and i only have 158 ata with this character.
i play ver.2
the criatures have higher stats then any other version, more atp, a strong evp and an amazing dfp.
