i have played mine so much its got scratches EVERYWHERE, it has only FSOD'd once
and to answer your question K_I_R_E_E_K, the only time i have noticed it saving is when i finish a quest or quit

when you enter an are, doesn't it apear a small thing telling, saving to memory, a green thing on the lower right corner?
