Hey there,

i am new to the forums. :)

I started PSO back on the DC and i am still playing the GameCube version.

However, my girlfriend started to play recently on a 2nd Memory Card and i was wondering if it is possible to play together offline using 2 different memory cards. Since she is in germany and i am in rome for 6 more months i can't go home and try it out. She doesn't know well, so i am better off asking you guys.

We want to play online together once i am back (2 TV's, 2 GCN, 2 ASCII...) but would also be nice to play it offline with her.

Thank you in advance,

Harme

Ah yeah, this is the GameCube Version Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II i am talking about.

PS: I am really sorry if i have posted in the wrong section, please move my Thread if it is wrong here.. Thank you :)
I think you can. I think it temporarily ports the data onto the main memory card, but it could well run from two different cards perfectly. Give it a try, it can't hurt.

Yes, you definitely can! Just put both cards and two controllers into your GC.

Keep in mind it will be in horizontal split-screen and that makes Dragon boss and any boss which flies high really difficult to see. You'll be fine. Big Grin
Oh, good. I sold PSO a while ago, so I'm not too sure of my knowledge of it.
The ASCIIs might be a little funky to play with because all you can use offline is the controller part. You can use them but i personally prefer the GC controller.
Thank you, it really worked!

Since we want to playing Online as well, ASCII really is worth using, but yeah, it's better to use the small GameCube pad for the offline part.. But it feels so different because i have always been playing PSO with the ASCII..
I love the ASCII for online! I sold mine on eBay last year and am deeply regretting it. I want to buy a new one when i get the money.
