I haven't played all of the original Megaman's or all of the X series, but AFAIK the guys/gals that compose the Megaman music tend to remix old songs into newer instalments. (X6 had a remix of Zero's theme from X5 IIRC. That's the only example I know of.) So they would still count as OSTs... I'll have to look into it.
METAL GEAR SOLID!
I forgot to add that into my first post. The music is one of the reasons the games are so powerful. At the end of MGS 3 I almost got choked up.
You can see the ending vid on youtube. If you don't know the story it won't dod anything for you though.
the video said they were guns n roses remixes. still a great series. I prefer the x series to the original.

Ah, I know what you're talking about now. In X5, all of the bosses are named after G 'n' R songs/members, and I think there are snippets of G 'n' R songs in the game's original songs. Or something. I'm probably wrong.
neon tiger's stage music is supposed to sound like a guns n roses song and yeah the bosses are sort of named after guns n roses members.
also I like halo 1's soundtrack and the theme song from devil may cry four so much I memorized it.
Sonic Adventure 2: Battle, Shadow the Hedgehog, Tales of Symphonia, Ocarina of Time, Metroid Prime 2: Echoes, Guild Wars, and of course, PSO
While the games themselves have declined, the soundtracks for Sonic are usually great. '
Live and Learn' for example

TLR was a
terribly average game, but the OST was quite good. Sekito outdid himself.

The latest Sonic is wildly bipolar. It doesn't know if it wants to be hard rock or smooth jazz.

I'd recommend it once it hits budget price, but please do NOT buy it at full. It's simply not worth it.
Good call on ToS though.

I thought it was pretty good. Though Square-Enix don't seem to have a complete grasp on anything other than Final Fantasy. I also like their other game, Project Sylpheed's music.

How is that anyway? I always meant to check it out but never got around to it.
