Full Version: is there any way to get PSOBB to work on UBUNTU?

The icons won't load? the start menu doesn't work?

You know that some virus/malware make just that so you have trouble removing them, they remove shortcuts to files, they block registry, they even block the properties on the desktop.

If you do have a virus, get a malware remover to fix those problems.
by won't load I mean they don't even APPEAR. does that change anything?
Does pressing the Windows button do anything?
That can be malware, some virus (like i said earlier) block access to many things.

I think the problem isn't the OS, it's probably something lese that is causing that problem.
unfortunately I can't use an antivirus on windows due to the no icons problem.and none will work with ubuntu for some reason.

will reformatting my computer and installing a new windows OS work? and if so which is the best OS for windows?

normally I'd just grin and bear it but there are a lot of other things I can't do on Ubuntu. wish windows wasn't so virus prone.
