Yes- the ending in the third one (The Amber Spyglass) is very sad.

yeah there is a lot of twist and the ending is very sad. so whats your favorite part?
It is a good book, in my opinion of course, and i like it a lot because of how there r several perspectives, and u find out that everyone is connected somehow. It is sort of confusing about how every knows eachother somehow.
I don't believe only 3 people from Ragol have read it! I don't want to say what my fav. bit is 'cause I might spoil it 4 sum1.
