I agree it was a right move as it has racked in alot more sales for Nintendo. Although it does seem that it is giving out the wrong message, but that is not inttended. With alot of new games coming out for the Gamecube, more and more people will be buying them. Therefore more profit for the company. Good idea right Wink

As for Rare, I admit that I wish that they didnt go but I'm not really bothered they did. They have brought out some great classics such as Goldeneye and Perfect Dark, but not much more. As for Aarons comment of that they only made crappy games, you only have to look back on some of the games they created to realise they werent Smile.

That was back in the day of N64 though.
They have yet to impress me.
I think it's going to be like the Dreamcast, and just stop.

Nintendo better make a better job of their next home console...
Hey don't bash Rare.*coughDonkeyKonggames/Killer INstict plus moreCough* Classic games.^_^

And about GC. Well, I've heard they are going to stop GC.
I think they already have, for a while.
Nintendo will just try again with another console in the future i think...
Not for a while, they still have many games yet to come.
'N5' is Ninty's next gen's consoles codename (Since its Ninty's 5th console!), & Im thinking more internet capable then GC, more link-up features with the next GameBoy, but Ninty, still relaxed in not putting a DVD/CD/VCD player into the machine, bad move do u think again by doing the same as the Gamecube?
Not really. As more people are into the Online games at this moment. And if you wanted to listen to CD's, you would buy a CD Player. Same with DVD, you would buy a DVD player. But it would be nice if there was DVD player, as I havent got one at the moment Sad
To be honest, the Gamecube not having a DVD/CD drive is the reason i reckon it failed to sell little at its release, if it had a DVD/CD player in it aswell (Even if it was like a sepearate drive on the GC) it wud have been a decent competitor for the PS2 (For its time), however, them doing it again wont b as dissappointin as surely by now, the DVD craze isnt that bigger deal anymore, every1 now probs has a ps2 with a DVD drive in it now anyways, or just a bog standard DVD player, so it shudnt b that bigger deal wen it comes too 2005/2006.

Thats probs wot theyre hoping anyways!
It is more of a kids console.....
