help should I be able to use photon blast by now? I am lvl. 18 RAcast perply
whats ur mag? You have to have at least a lvl 10 mag and have shot a lot of enemies or taken a lot of hits to use them.
When u have a mag strong enough the will get there photon blast each do different things when u ave it prss R(GCN Version) adn either press B,A,X(GCN Version) ur first one will be assigned 2 A(GCN Version).
i know i have 2 photon blasts but my yellow bar never goes over 87 my mag is like lvl 35
well then...you just have to let the monsters hit you more, but it's really not worth it anyway.
if u go to pioneer two, your pb gauge goes to 0.

look if you play enough in one level and dont go to pioneer two (Ruins as an example.) you will eventually get enough for a good PB if you're at a lower level and you get damaged a lot. Look you can heal right? You dont purposefully get yourself hit, its all accidental, but in boss battles when you're more likely to hit then you're going to build up PB
