DEFINITELY STAR OCEAN. Star Ocean 2 to be precise. The battle system lets YOU walk up to the enemies and attack them and you can run around and avoid hits and stuff. It may only be a PSOne game but it's still really good.
I used to have Star Ocean: Second Story, but I got rid of it because I really couldn't get into the "sprite" graphics. It was fun for a while though. I really like how it didn't stick with the traditional medieval setting and instead opted for a futuristic/space theme. Also, the 80 endings or so is great for replay value. If only it had a new game + option like in the Chrono Trigger series. It was a neat game I suppose.

well then play tales of symphonia it anime 3d style battles
I used to play a huge amount of every final fantasy. I dont play alot anymore
but i still play FF:CC quite a bit.
now why the hell would you still be playin FFCC? that game blew pretty hard, and im a huge FF fan but i still didnt like that game much.
FF:CC is only a little bit fun when it comes to multiplayer, but I would never try to beat that game. Seems like too much work for too little fun. Got really repetitive in a hurry.
yeah it did, even with the 4 of us all playing it wasnt that great...
*brains sputters* OH GOD! *thought dawns* Is FF going the path of Homestar Runner? NOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!
it is if they keep trying to make it appeal to a new generation...
I'm all for better graphics and new systems, but they have to stay true to Final Fantasy story standards. If they keep slipping, they'll lose hold of their old school fans like me.
