I've heard about it being a hacked/duped mag, but I'm wondering what it is. I've heard that you can get banned for using one online, and would like to know what one is or looks like so that I can avoid getting banned.
The Elenor mag doesn't really exist.
If you see a mag with that name,it's always a hack.
And any mag with more than 1 stat at 0 is a hack too.
hmm, it sucks doesnt it. ive seen quite a few pictures of it. it looks amazing.
do you think its possible if a hacker could make a cell which made a elenor mag?
sega are annoying me because they arent doing enough.
An Elenor mag (I think) looks like an asparas but pink. It's the mag Elenor (duh!) carries around with her, when you do the quests. Just start up Magnitude of Metal and go see.
I think it is an actually mag since there are photos with people wearing them, but of course it's not a real mag you can legitly get. I don't think there is anything special about it. I don't think it's super powerful. But it is regarded as proof of your hacking abilites I think. Since all/most of the weapons can be legitly got, hacking a weapon before it's time (TJ-Sword (?), badges, Red Ring), is not a feat, it's a case of moving some files. Making something equippable that you aren't supposed to equip would probably earn you more kudos in hacking circles.

Isn't a normal mag only got stats on 1 level?
To my knowledge, ST aren't banning people yet for having hacks/dupes. The only thing to my knowledge so far that ST have banned are the music discs that aren't released yet through Galon's Shop. People have Red Rings, and 1000+ level mags, so I guess you can either legitly get them, or ST can't be bothered to ban them o_O

.
if you have a hacked mag, there arent any red drops. (as you most probably knew)
the red ring, ive heard can be obtained legitly, (offline and on)
after defeating falz (ult), get back up to pioneer two, (if offline, kill yourself with a wep like double cannon, or virus wear, kind of thing...)
go back through telepipe portal, and theres a 1/64 chance of it being there for viridia, skyly, and redria.
1/37 for a whitill.
this is apparently confimed, and i hope you could make sense of what i said.

Is this related to seeing Reco and Flowen too? If so, I would need a Red weapon first, kill Olga and see Flowen, hopefully get a DNA. Then make a Dark weapon, kill Falz, see Rico and hopefully get a Red Ring?
The chance and work for getting all of those?
I've never actually seen any of them so I don't know if I need dark/red weapon to see them, only going off what I've heard... although I would like to see Flowen (since you only need a red weapon).
I guess when you equip the mag, it sets certain parameters so you act/are a NPC. Which means you don't get red drops?
no, the mag red item block is a modification on the servers by sega.
the elenor mag is the only mag a npc ever has equipped anyway...
and no, you dont have to kill them with red/dark weps.
Actually, during certain holidays online, DB, Flowen, and I think Rico are available on certain quests. Not sure what holidays, but I DO remember reading about that before I even went online...I'll look it up on PSOWorld n_n
well well well, wouldnt THAT be interesting....

Naaaaaaaaah.
What I heard for the Rico and Flowen boss thing is you need to beat the end bosses in a multiplayer mode, either Online or Offline Multiplay, and when you get back to town, head back into Ruins3 or Lower Seabed and enter the boss teleport again. No death involved that way =) Just make sure you drop a pipe outside the boss or you're in for a walk!
Think I saw that under 'cheats' on the GameFaqs site or maybe another PSO fan site.
