I keep hearing about this game online but have no idea about what it is about, I mean what is the diffrence between online and off? can you do anything spectacula or do you just build up clans with friends and kick other clans butts, also can you go online with one gamecube but 4 players or is online a single player thing?

Online is only single player unfortunatlly. The difference between Offline and Online is that Online isnt boring like Offline :p. Online you can lotsa things like build clans, chat to people, join in with news quests which get uploaded every so often and much more

Not to mention level up a heck of a lot faster. Thank god for TTF
Yeah, in essence online has many different quests (which dont exist offline), many of which give waaaay more exp than anything you can do offline. Also, you get better access to rares not only through trade but because other peoples section IDs affect the rares you find so if they create the room youre in, you can get their rares from monsters. You also get pretty solid friendships developed.

Online is amazing....thing is it's even better with a keyboard! You can type fast, dance, play dead, etc in the lobby. But online is awesome, I can actually beat Ult offline with my HUmar with not only the weapons but also the leveling up (started out at 86 when I first got online, wow 1 month does alot for leveling!

If you're really into the game and leveling your characters then i suggest you get this. In one week i got my level 50 character to level 65 and my level 30 character to 47 just through TTF and leveling rooms. Not to mention i've gotten a few rares (inferno bazooka) that i probably wouldn't have found for a loooong time had i stayed offline. Not to mention the hunters license will carry over into PSO 3. Overall its a good idea if you can fork out the 8.95 a month

When I just got online (I was lv 113, 56, 59 back then...)
my parents left for 4 days
, soo... I played about 70 hours online, and I got a lot of lvls up.
I wouldnt have gotten to lv 131 in a few days, if I hadn't been online.

I remember when I got corrupted and had to start all over again. I was around level 60-70 at the time. Given me a week or two and I was back upto around that level
. Didnt take as long as I was online playing with other people
Ive owned the game since December of 2002 and ive corrupted twice and just look at my Levels. One great offline alternative is Ult ruins. I can clear it in about 45 mins and i get about 160k exp, whereas a TTF max run give you 150-175k in about 25 mins. A TTF min run gives you 90-120k in like 12-15 minutes.
