I was playing ruins (v.hard) with a friend of mine, were both hunters so when there's a red item were buttenbashing to get it first.
I was very happy when I got an item first but then this happened:
We were walking in a room with two buttons to stand on to open the door.
On those buttens were the nonamed thingy's on the ground that poison you.
I killed mine (wel just hit is once as you all know) and got meseta as usual.
My friend got a freakin' special weapon out of it... IT DOES NOT EVEN HAVE A NAME!!
Anyone else ever had that?

ps: I'm recently able to play on ultimate and I've cleared the forest twice and the caves once.. but didn't get any rares at all

Oh ruins, and those blobs on the floor. Yeah they mostly drop meseta. But I think I've had one drop a rare for me once. I think it was a slicer -.-.

What rare did he/she get?

Actually...I have seen a rare named ???? . I think it was a hack but thne again this instance may prove me wrong....it was just named ???? . Weird eh?

I think he meant those little poison spouting things you see from time to time in the ruins. Not the rare. Edit: Wait i see someone else got it then. Nevermind. It really gets me when i'm playing with someone illegit on V hard online. And then a monster drops a rare but they get it. They're cheating anyways! Just give me the item! Well actually one of them was nice enough to, this is how i got my second varista and crush bullet

I have gotten at least 5 rares outta those things, 3 photon drops, kaladbolg and a durandal, they act as a living box basically.

I've never got a rare of those little things before. I doubt they will be any good tho, most probably another Cross scar :o .

Never heard of them giving out rares, all I get is Meseta :p

I believe he got a crush bullet, so nothing interresting but still.

i usually go by who ever kills the enemy gets it. not first come first serve. vahn on the other hand....

IF a rare is named ???? you may need to take it too a tekker
