I think that it is amazing how many people speak it. The main reason is that I have heard that it is one of the hardest languages to learn if it is your native language. I mean I have been learning it since I began school and I still probably don't know half the rules and exceptions.
I think it's good for me that so many people speak English just because I never bothered to finish learning any language. I'm kinda picking up some Japanese, but not enough to get through a conversation. And i gave up on Spanish a long time ago. Oh well.
well, i take french, and by the end of high school, i will know it really well.
Cool. Did you choose to learn French, or was it forced on you as a foreign language class? Either way, you should try to converse with lionheart, he's taking French. I think he's almost done with French 3, but I don't know how good he is.
i am only on 1-a. lowest level. a lauguage class for three yearas is required for lots of collages, so i decided to tkae one, and i wanted to learn french. btw, the record was broken today. 51 people.

Anyway, I have to learn French and we choose either spanish or german (if anyone cares)
My school sucks, I can only take Spanish and you have to take it to graduate on a recommended plan. I know some Japanese and I've looked up Elvish on the internet. Yo no quiero a trabajo en Espanol en mi escuela. Yo vivo en los Estados Unidos de America. I'm pretty good with spanish (even though I'm an anglo-American[white])
