Is Phantasy Star Online, Episode III: C.A.R.D. Revolution a Gamecube Exclusive?

Now i know that everyone who read the thread made ages ago containing a reply from someone (Can't remember who now) from SEGA that said PSO, Episode III will appear on the Xbox, will say, no, it's obviously not a GC Exclusive game! But look i the top left hand corner of the box cover...its got one of those 'Only for' things on it! Misprint, or Exclusive?!

With xbox having so much money the can do anything they want, but yeah it aint just for gamecube though i bet it will be more enjoyable like ep 1&2

I only read lee yoshi's first post and I read the previous Nintendo Power Issue that had an Interview with Yuji Naka (pso creator) and he said for right now its going to be a Game Cube Exclusive.

This is what im on about, some replies here say it will be for Xbox, others don't. Obviously, i haven't read the interview in Nintendo Power with Yuji Naka because i don't live in the U.S., unless its similar to the one put onto GameSpy.com i read a while ago. They could also print it in Nintendo Official Magazine UK, which is the UK equivilent, and i wish they would, but the game hasn't been that hyped in the UK unforts!

But if Yuji Naka has said its going to be a Gamecube exclusive for the moment, i'm not gonna disagree, since its official SEGA word! It just seemed wierd to notice that after SEGA Europe's e-mail to another member here said the game would be on Xbox. Things also change, such as this obviously! lol

microsoft are the richest company on the planet they can do anything they want like theve alreay bout rare for over qaurter of a billlion, pso ep 3 will be on xbox and nintendo are just a bit of fun(no point buying them out it will ake the gaming industry boring)

I believe it was, but due to the lack of sales and online support from Nintendo, SEGA decided to release it also on the Xbox because of the success of Xbox Live.


However, i wouldn't say that was a better move, look how many people play Phantasy Star Online on Xbox compared to on Gamecube, and if the Gamecube version sold badly....well its no wonder there won't be another Phantasy Star Online game after Episode III.....not for a while anyways. :'(

is there many people play the gamecube version? I play 1+2 on Xbox
