I don't have downtime...I can reswing instantly, there would be like 1/2 a second window, and that's not fast enough to attack.

lol, yeah...oh and another reason I don't like daggers is simply BECAUSE you have to get so close. Might as well make it a manly, honorable fight and do it hand-to-hand.

a gun would be fast enough but daggers are good if you use both efectively or else you will be owned by a sword user
Yes, but you don't necassairily have to attack in that half a second window, you can run round the back, or, if the need be, take a step back, making them overbalnce when the try and move foward whilst swinging- I do that alot. I've tried daggers, a sword, and Kendo Bar, and I definately prefer daggers.
well that's certainly your preference and never use a weapon you don't feel good with. Believe me, I'm not saying daggers are useless weapons, but unless I was really caught off guard, I would be able to defeat any dagger wielder with my swords.

ha i really wanna face u. i dont know of any1 that fast with a broadsword. ud be freakin leathel with a katana
not to mention he look hella funny.
it'd be cool to watch him fight someone. it'd be like 'shwing, shwing, shwing!' all fast like.

i dunno, when it was you and i were fighting, you with your sword, and me with your sai we wree evenly matched, but than again we were just jerking around....
