Does anyone know a way to increase your chances of finding a certain rare?
There isn’t a way to influence rares to appear, if there was then it would cause mayhem so it’s all done by probability.
rares are found in beats, say like 654 could get get you ______
Is there any way to increase your chances of finding a rare in a certain area or from a certain enemy?
Well you can pipe for enemys...
Hmmm it depends what rare you want to find and what monster u can obtain it from. Then u can use the 'piping' technique!! Smile
hmmm...the way I like to find rares is this.

*lights dim*

What i do is....play the same level over again!

Yep, when I was first starting out I found my first rare in hard mode in forest 2 from a hildebear right before the central dome area. So when I got that rare, I beat forest, saved, turned off cube(not online at this time) and beat same place over again. Chances were on my side! Lo and behold another rare same one though...soon I got another rare(being different than first two) I did this about 6 times and ended up with three different rares. Though this may be boring it holds the purpose.

The rares were in this order:

1) Visk (2)
2) Wals (3)
3) Blade Dance (1)
Well,it depends,if ur on normal, your just hunting for Photon D.s.
This may be irrelevant, but try using very common weapons(Few stars)when u kill enemies,it may be a theory(Some of u may still remember my thread about it).
u should be on at least v hard mode before repeating levels lots of times to get a rare. if u know wat item u r looking for, u can check the item findings on this site, only ultimate, and check if u can find it with your section id.
