Heh, what a co-incidence, I'm a lvl 17 Humar and i've just reached ruins also! Well, so far it's going fine, resta helps A LOT and try using a gun that drains TP. This way, you can save your mates for Dark Falz later on.
Yeh, they can take me down in 4 hits too, but for some reason i don't find that much, cuz my Hucast on ultimate can die in 2 hits. :'(

And one more tip...DON'T EVER USE MELEE WEAPONS TO FIGHT DELSABER..(I learnt that the hard way many many times ) As Goldie said, it really helps to have a 100+ MAG..mine is lvl 200 with about 130 strength.

Pay heed to my words, Gamerblake, and you will succeed...

1. A HUGE level mag (200 max) Helps LOADS.
2. Level up some more. (obviously) Mines and Vol Opt are good bets, as Vol Opt is EEEASY!
3. Equip body-types to your armor/frame slots.
4. Use a gun on Ruins, as they said...but BEWARE of the glitch! You must be a whole metre roughly out of the doorway to lock onto them, but they can hurt you in the doorway.
5. If your mag is high-level, when you get a Photon Blast, you are invulnerable for a short time.
6. There is no dishonour in using Ryuker/telepipes frequently to get healed on Pioneer 2.

Yeah, that is how it was for my humar, I had a crappy mag, and I always forgot to feed it when I was a newb, and well, it was only at like level 30, and that is why it took me so long in ruins.

When you go to Dark Falz and he does Grants wouldnt he die?

I would say anything above 20 would be good to beat the ruins, my HUcast beat it at about lvl 23 or so and my FOnewm (with a lvl 200 Nidra) beat it at about lvl 24. I wasn't through with normal mode until i was like lvl 40-something with my FOmar. I went online and kept running through Towards the Future so I gained massive levels and went through the game a lot easier since I over-leveled. I stick with Forces because they have the strong techs and I just love magic.
