Yeah. I'm surprised sliced bread hasn't come back to defend his beloved series. Maybe he agrees with us?

its so..... so..... commercial is the word 4 it. i think it kinda lost its charm..... plus theres why better mangas out there like 3x3eyes and Guy awankening of the devil. Princess mononoke and Battle angel Alita is cool 2

id say more Americanized over commercial. Unlike most dubbed animes (where they translate it and edit some stuff out), DBZ is completely altered. Its not only edited, but completely changed (like the one episode of Yu Yu Hakusho, with Chu the Drunken Master, they rewrote the script to take out any and all alcohol references). It is commerical too though. Overall, its mediorce at best, something to do if youre completely bored.

good point. along time ago tho, when it was the first anime on tv it was the best there was. but when everyone started 2 get into it. the hype annoyed me it ruined it just like pokemon

oh and talkin about commercial anime have you seen the End of Evangelion (movie not series) with is got to be one of the most cool, confusing and weird movies i have ever seen? ooo that gives me an idea

yep, exactly i agree completely (that and when youre age 13-15ish it seems so cool).

EDIT: i didnt see your second post. I really dont like Eva or Escaflowne. im not a fan of Mech anime.

hey dont worry bout it every1 has their faults lol. i just like eva cos of the storyline. i mean who woulda thought that we were the final angels.... i still dont understand most of it tho

nobody does, everything thinks the ending is WAY too philisophical. Everyone that ive ever talked to about it doesnt fully get the end.

u kno y its like that? the director got aload of crud 4 the series endin so he changed it. well no1 can bad mouth it now cos no understands it
