I have been wrestling since I was about 8 so at this point about 7 years. I haven't come up with anything new persay but I have come up with some of the more advanced moves without anyone showing me them or telling me.
These days it's hard to find anything new because everyone has already done it...

Yeah, wrestling is not one of those sports you hear about all the time. When people say they've been playing soccer or hockey since they were 5 or 8 or something, it's no big deal. But wrestling takes a lot of effort. I know, I tried it once. And I mean ONCE (one month on my school's team) What DID get you into it?
I liked the whole idea that whether I won or lost was up to me entirely. I didn't have to depend on other people to get their job done. Eight isn't all that early actually. The people who have parents that were into the sport started at around four (my coach included who now has been wrestling for 40 years).
Yes, wrestling is hard but I think it's worth it. I can't get a good workout like that anywhere else.
I bet! I wudda loved 2 have done wrestling. But from the sounds of things, you dont get anything like that over here! You say you had the opportunity in school?!?! Dam, and 4 years old...it's unimaginable!
Yeah it really is. But he's won a CISM world championship because of it (CISM is world military competition).
Yeah I get to in school. It's a lot of fun and a lot of hard work. We do cardiovascular workouts in the wrestling room while it is about 90 degrees fahrenheit. Too hot for me.
