Yup. I've said stuff like that. Anime is a way more expensive addiction. But my motto is: "Anime isn't an obsession or an addiction, it's a passion and way of life" Cheesy, yes, but so true.

i cant stand action series manga because you lose the craziness of the fights a lot of the time. Battle Royale will never be an anime because its too violent so i have to tolerate it in its Manga form...
Ooooh!! Violence!! Violence!! Must read! If I had more shelves, I'd have a lot of manga. But yeah, it is hard to read action/fighting manga. I usually end up reading them a few times over to get it. By the way, has anyone even remotely heard of Petshop of Horrors?
hey there jenny jen, you can tell if somebody is on by seeing the check mark next to their name, if its lit up, theyre on. OH and melfi, heres the story to Battle Royale. In the near future (2008-2009 ish) in Japan, there had been a uprising led by teenagers. The government decided to pass the BR(Battle Royale) Act which allows them to, once a year, randomly select a freshman class and place them on an island and they have to kill each other until only 1 is left in a televised event called "The Program". The main character, Shuuya, wants to try and stop the fighting and its crazy. The situation is complicated because they have these necklaces on, if you tamper with them, they blow up, if you leave the perimeter of the island, they blow up (plus the coast guard has the island surrouded and they have orders to shoot), and the collars blow up if youre an a danger zone (a special designated zone that announced on the PA). Anyway, its really REALLY Graphic with the gore and sex (yes there is a LOT of sex). Its wonderfully drawn, the details are phenomenal.
Oooh! I'll get that next time if they got it. It looks pretty interesting. It's kind of hard for me to keep up with a series, though, because so many new ones come out. I try to balence what I get and when I get it. That way I don't miss nothin.
