That's only because they didn't grow up with these things like we have. My mom tried Super Smash Bros. Melee once, it was funny. She likes Tetris and my dad likes Pacman but they don't understand half the games I play.

He thinks he knows more about computers, and video games than me! And he such a control freak over our phone line. He thinks it's his when my mum pays for it!

yep parents are weird that way, my mom knows nothign of video games but my dad knows a bit (he used to play N64 o_O)
my parents are just "parents" . They don't always understand things the way I do.
My dad actually got a GC recently and played PSO for a couple of months.
