I'm using AOL 9.0 broadband DSL. Could you tell how I can find out these:

Subnet mask
Default router
Primary DNS
Secondary DNS

I've tried the automatic settings but it;s not working, so I'm tryng manual.

Please help x.x!
Hey Ria, how are you connecting your gamecube to your net connection?
Broadband adapter through my network card in my computer. Is that what you needed to know?
Yea thats cool. So your modem is connected to your pc via a USB slot?

I assume youre trying to setup net connection sharing, which version of windows are you running?
It goes straight from my Modem adapter to the network card directly in mycomputer tower. I assume it has to go through the network card to get online with PSO x.x

I'm running XP
So your gamecubes BBA connects to your pcs network card. And you modem also connects to a network card in your pc. So youve got 2 ethernet network cards in your tower?
Umm.. the first part is correct. But the 2nd? Umm... I think no.

Or is the adapter cable supposed to go into my DSL modem? :S
you may want to try a router. thats what ive got set-up. we have 3 things running off of it. 2 computers and one gamecube.
..........

I'm confused
heheh.. to be able to use AOL's broadband service you will need have your GC BBA connected to your pc's LAN card. You will then need to connect the AOL modem to your pc. This can either be via a LAN card in your pc or a USB slot (if your modem has a USB slot too).

To connect your BBA and your modem to a LAN card slot in your pc you will need two LAN cards (1 slot each) or like N1NJ4 said you could buy a router and do it that way.

Tried to explain it the simplest i can, let me know if this helps.
