hmmm... I wonder if it works that way... I know that it works if you use your serial for pso1-2 with 3, but I wonder if it would work backwards.... if you have to resort to that please let us know so we can make note of that
Will do Smile

But I've contacted both Sega Europe, and Sega US hopefully one of them will be able to help.
Btw check this out, quoted from an automated reply I got from Sega US:

Quote:Question:
If I subscribe to Phantasy Star Online Episode I & II for GameCube, do I
have to buy a new Hunter's License for Episode III?

Answer:

No! A valid Hunter's License for Episode I & II on GameCube is also valid
for Episode III. Conversely, a Hunter's License for Episode III also
allows you to play Episode I & II (assuming you have purchased the game).
Starman Wrote:Yeah - Only problem is when I tried to register the access key etc it said it had already been used! Sad

Also I need to get a broadband Adaptor, is it true you can use one from any region? So this would work just fine?
Garenteed it will work. My Modem Adapter is from Canada, and Ria got broadband from Japan.
Congrats on getting the cube.
Well I contacted both Sega Europe, and Sega USA here is their replies

Sega USA Wrote:Thank you for e-mailing Sega Technical Support.

If the original owner of the game created a Gamecube Phantasy Star Online hunter's license, you will not be able to create a second one.

There is no way to reset the hunter's license. There is no way to delete it.

There are no replacement serial numbers for Phantasy Star Online games.

Sega Europe Wrote:Thank you for your reply.

If you cannot get those details from the previous owner of the game take the
game back to the retailer where you bought it and get a refund or a
replacement game with codes that have never been registered online. If the
codes have been registered online make sure that the previous owner is
contactable so that you can request the user name and password. For security
reasons we are unable to give these details.

Should you have any further questions please do not hesitate to contact us
again.

Thank you
