It depends,it actually goes like this:
Beginning Advantage:HUnewearl
HUmar
ULT Advantage:HUcast
HUcaseal
My point is that HUmars and HUnewerls have an easy time on normal and all with the techs,but later on ULT androids have the advantage with their high def and pow.
hunewearls are cool cus they are good at atp and v.good techs but have the lowest hp at 858 at lv121
Personally i dont like Hunewearls, they have crap for what most Hu's are good at, you want techs just use a force.
I like HUcaseal for some reason, i just think with the adv in def combined with decent power is a good balance.
I saw this thread and knew instantly that the winner was gonna be HUcast, becuz it basically is the best, except when ur just starting.

Hucast all the way, especially in mutliplayer with S and D from high level FO's , Mwhahahah - look at my ATP now! D.Falz!
i will always side humar am stickin to my guns they may have lost alot of cred since the good old days of dreamcast but a good few zonde techs an the hucast's drop like fly's. power is not always the best path it depends on the player's using it.
HUmar are my fave but HUcast comes very close second

I'm a HUcast myself but i hate them..
One of my friends is also a HUcast and he is 2 reckless with enemies
I play very protective and i'm powerfull and good with all weapons..
But the HUcast is underrated...its only power they say..there's more to that you know...HUcast are good...HUmars to but i prefer HUcast cos i don't use magic...
