When i dial, it says line is busy, i have reset my mem cards, and lost the dreamcard disk :'( , this may be a reason, but when dialing, it says that the line is busy....could this be this? or that i have adsl on the line.
I have also thought it may be because that the phone number it is dialing up with is out of date...no?

it may be because of the dreamkey you are using. I have just used version 3 and that is fine so hey.
Depends where you live.
US DC PSO is dead. JP and EU DC PSO is still active. That could be the reason.
If you are plugging the supplied modem cable into the modem on the DC and then into the ADSL line, that's your other problem. The DC only came equipped with a modem and the broadband adapter was hardly produced. And the supplied connection settings and user accounts are probably disabled but might still work.
And as someone else said, you need the latest version of Dreamkey for EU people. Try phoning Sega and see if they will send you one. It's free.

That's customer support for Sega Europe.
U can still play pso online in us and latin america. there is an alternative server to connect, but u need a codebreaker and an special save on the mc that has the server connect code. u can find more info in ths site: removed.

Connecting your Dreamcast To Online can be VERY hard nowadays...
I'd say that the only oportunity is to look in ebay.com,
Look and ask in GAME, etc...
I doubt they would do them in stores, u gotta be VERY lucky if u saw one in Gamestation on the shelf....

I use to play pso on the DC now im on the xbox. The problem with the DC was you had to pay per minute and my budget wouldnt allow much play time
