Joeblob, I don't think they sell them in stores.
If you want the cheap powerboard, go to http://www.codejunkies.com. If you want the more expensive board, go to http://www.playasia.com or lik-sang.com.

I had the ascii keyboard awhile ago, I ended up selling it with all my other gaming goods, and ended up rebuying everything later lol. The ASCII keyboard works fine with no flaws, compatability for English and Japanese, and a standard qwerty keyboard layout (that's the normal english layout if you're curious). No repeating keys, no keys got stuck, and there was a nice feeling to the keyboard. Controls worked perfectly, and it didn't become uncomfortable in my hands. The only issue I had with it, was the keys were pretty darned small. If you have large fingers like me, you may have some issues with hitting two keys at once. I got used to it after a few days of playing, but it will take some getting used to. Anyways, I hope you enjoy your new keyboard!

I really like just hanging and talking on PSO (as long as the spammers haven't found me) but I can't justify buying a keyboard yet, so I don't talk a lot cuz I'm so slow. Very frustrating. Oh! I should look on Ebay for a good keyboard! Try that everybody!
EDIT: I TRIED EBAY AND THEY HAVE ADAPTERS FOR PC KEYBOARDS. $12 US
Do those work at all? Seems to be a lot of them up for auction.

I shudda thought that'd work, thats all Datel have done with the Powerboard. Its a normal keyboard and its got an adapter on the end that changes the PC plug into a GC port plug. Itd be a much cheaper option and i shudnt c y it wouldnt work!

I'm gonna get one so I'll tell you if it works when I get it. My regular keyboard is really good so the only problem would be with the adapter.

a keyboard would be better for pso cuz you dont have to waste time typing on the controller....so you can continue fighting and not waste time on the cntroller.....man i should buy one when i get back online.....

I'm still trying to get my hands on one but I have to buy the adapter through my mom and she's being kinda bitchy about it. Well, I just asked my aunt to buy me one of those ASCII keyboards cuz my b-day is on August 14th. Then I turn the famed 18. Yaya!
