i have got one but with a different serail number and acess key so how do i change it to get online

If you go back to the site you purchased HL. (Depends wether yer UK or US) There should be an option where you can edit your license.
When I purchased my HL, I remember you could edit information such as your Serial-Number and Access Key, you credit card number, etc.
i registered at ply sega.com and there is know option to edit my account
If you can't find anything, you should call Sega, or re-create a Hunter's License.

Just delete your old one and create it exactly how you created your old one.
