Im not all that good at PSO tricks and things, so I was wondering if anyone here can help me on these matters:
1) How do I pipe enemies? I know about piping Canadines, but how would I pipe rappies and hildeblues? (Im only on VH)

2) My little bro got Megid Lv1 this morning for his Lv14 Pinkal FOmar, thanks to some help by me (Mind Mats and the disc). I was trying to see what Megid does, but I cant seem to do anything to enemies? How do I use this?

Please help me! Thanks in advance.
1) To pipe rappies, start the Fake In Yellow quest and go to the room with 8 rappies (second to last room with enemies in iirc). Stand near the entrance facing into the room and begin to pipe back and forth.
The best place for rare Hildes is in the Forest Of Sorrow quest. Go to the final room in the quest and run past the two bears already in the room and wait for another to drop down. Kill this one and another will drop down near the entrance. Kill that one also, but leave the original two alive. Now two more bears will fall from the sky and you will have four bears in the room if done correctly. Simply go to the small opening near where the baby hildebear is hiding and begin your piping.

Piping canadines was done by illegits before recoboxing and the AR codes came along as it is a lame way to get exp quickly. It is still seen as illegit by some people. The piping I have outlined is the commonly used pipe trick to get rare enemies to appear. Contrary to what some people may tell you, the beat-time at which you hunt these rare enemies does not matter. It is very random (though you are likely to get one from roughly every 500).

2) Megid is an instant kill technique. If an enemies dark resistance is low enough, then it will kill them in one casting. Most Ep1 enemies have incredibly high dark resistances, so unless you have very high level megid, you will be trying many times before it will kill them (if ever). I would recommend not using megid until you get a much higher level of it and are playing in Ep2. Megid will never work on a boss.
Thanks. I still dont understand about that rappy thing, do i kill one of the rappies first?
Nope, just check see if one is a rare one then just pipe back to P2.
piping what is that am not much of a newb at the game lv 101 but i am self taught so what is piping an enemy?
We just explained this for you...but...

Piping is where you enter a room and look through the enemies, if you see a rare one, kill it, if not, set a telepipe, go to Pioneer 2, then go back down, search the room again, if there are no rare enemies, pipe back up to Pioneer 2 again. Continue doing this untill you find a rare enemy. DO NOT KILL THE ENEMIES BEFORE YOU FIND A RARE ONE!!! (Or unless you get bored)
i was piping for pouilly slimes all day but nothing. i want a demolition comet. but im skyly and i got some cool weapons. but i know the quest but is there any guide on the chances of a rare enemy dropping? like (1/---) that type of guide.
how do u look through an enemy is it just like when u r against a wall and its turns see-though?
Dark Sage, the rate we think is correct for a rare enemy to appear is 1/512.

blair_fc_uk, we mean you look at every enemy to see if any of them are their rare variety and if they are not, you pipe back up to P2 and back down again. The reason this makes rare enemies appear is because everytime you pipe up and back down again, the game loads a new set of rappies, which each have the 1/512 chance of being their rare variety. To pipe most effectively, you should find the biggest group of that enemy that is possible before you pipe (the ones I listed above for rappies and hildebears). Note that this is offline only however, as the online servers store the enemy information, so they do not change everytime you pipe.
