what actually is so good about s-ranks ive looked on the item database and they all have low stats. do they charge up if you grind them or something?

Well, they all have rather high grinding (from 50 to 250, depending on weapon), and a custom special for a fee of 30 to 50 Photon Drops.

So if you see "S-Rank Saber: 150 ATP" note that Saber grinds to 250, that brings its ATP to 650, add to that berserk special (costs 40 PDs), and you have a saber with potentially better power than Lavis Cannon, and equippable by 11 classes.

I dont know much about s-ranks so excuse me if this is stupid. Can you get any special on a S-rank if you have enough pd's or is it limited? Some specials could make them just plain awesome.

A-Rank (50 photon drops)
Arrest 80% -- paralysis success rate
Hell 93% -- Instant death success rate
Demon's -- Reduces enemy HP to 1/4
Jellen -- level 17
Zalure -- level 33

B-Rank (40 photon drops)
Berserk -- Drains 1/4 HP and attack power doubled
Spirit -- Drains 1/5 TP and attack power doubled
King's -- Takes 16% of enemy EXP
Chaos -- 76% confusion success rate
Gush -- Drains 17% of enemy HP
Geist -- Refills 6% TP

C-Rank (30 photon drops)
Burning -- Foie based attack at tech level 100+
Blizzard -- 80% frozen success ratio
Tempest -- Zonde based attack at tech level 100+
HP Recovery -- Recovers 1 HP every 5 seconds, whether you're moving or not.
TP Recovery -- Recovers 1 TP every 5 seconds, whether you're moving or not.

Note that specials on S-Ranks are unaltered by weapon class, so if you use Gush on S-Rank Mechgun, you will drain 17% of monster's HP with every bullet.

how do u actually get them do you have to complete challenge? if you do, how do you get on it?

What about s-rank? can nobody get this rank?

Lol s-ranks are weapons lol and I dont think there is a rank on this form lol.

Upon completing challenge mode, you get an overall rank which is based on your time. If the time is under 7 hours then you get the S rank prize (online=custom named srank weapon, offline=comedy weapon).

If u want a good one i stress u to do it ONLINE otherwise u will get crap but funny weps
