:o Thats what i was thinking but i really wish there was a way 4 sega to help us. even though the number of dupe games i c is going down, but still hardly at all, but our overall question is, Will sega be able to help and even if they can, will they?

I'm sure Sega is working to make anti-cheats.

They could do like in diablo : A cd-key and if u dupe or use hacks, they ban ur cd-key

yes but i think they shouyld'nt be cut out of the fun, i just think the scource should not the people with the copies, i mean,they didnt do nething nearly as bad as the real duppers right?

I u have a duped item u won be ban ( ur not using hacks u have an item comes from a dupers ) If the duper used a hack for make an item an sega take him to do that now he would be ban

ill confess i think i have a few dupped items. One wep has 99% cahance of it being dupped unless you have the only 1 of it thats real. I mean the tsumikiri j-sword. It is a glitched wep, and has been dupped so many times just about every hunter i know has it. It scares me cause i know i don't have the real one and that scares me that i would be banned.

they have been doing a diablo style bans since version 2. But they dont work very well, you just complain and they unblock it for you lol!

Duping is making a copy of an item. That's it. But it's the damage it can cause to the online aspect of PSO. More and more games are being passworded online by legit players who don't want dupes in their game because they "spoil" the economy of the game. As more and more games become locked, the less chance you have of meeting nice people.

I doubt very much the GC will ever get as bad as the DC, but if it does then only expect the people in the lobbies to be hackers.

Why is duping bad I hear you cry? Well, a big part of PSO is trading and chatting. If you make a copy of an item, then you devalue that item because it is not as rare. Look at the Black King Bar situation. If that wasn't duped as much as it is, then it would be a rare find for anybody. But if you want one, you can probably just ask someone and they will make you a copy there and then. What is the point or trading if you don't trade legit items?

And now you see....thats why I hate duping so much :mad:. Ive never experienced the feeling of the Online Mode, but I can understand what its like. I takes away all the point and fun away from the game. Thats about £40 down the drain isnt it?

yeah its simply a wastse of time if you have those hobos around
