I like multi-target weapons-Spread Needle or Yasminkov 7000V.
And Yasminkov 9000M, Red Mechgun and Guld Milla!

I think rifles are cool... i havent played the game for very long (my RaCast is lvl 26) but i prefer snipers to any over weapon that i can get.
No way im changing my sniper for a lock gun.

When do you get decent named weapons? Is it after you can get railguns? :S
I think all weapons are good at different parts
I prefer Hand guns cause of my varista +7, butt mechgun are cool, so i voted them.
Why does the guy kick to cast spells?it looks funny
After going on ruins for the first time time about a 3 days ago in normal (ive now finished it in hard), ive found shots to be extremly useful. They can hold back many monsters at once.
I think mechguns are good at causing lots of damage, but you usually have to get very close, and after you fire them the reaction time is very slow so you'll usulally find yourself being smacked in the head whilst your still holding your guns in the air.
I still think the rifles the best type (although now i have a beam, and all my weapons cept for my cannon are of the same level).
Err... when did you find your first special ranger weapon? Ive found about 4 special items so far and theyve all been hunter weapons, and one piece of armour (2 DB's sabres, 1 Brionac and Secret Gear).

On Topic: Rifles have excellent accuracy and fairly decent atp, if mechguns had a much higher atp then I'd go with the mechs. But until thats done, its rifles all the way.
I carry all the ranger weapons, and a pallachesr :S , so i kinda like them all.
