The mags IQ doesn't go down, so there is no reason to really feed your mag after lv 200. Its a damned program, it wont beg you for food or anything.
Save yourself some money, and forget about it. My mags synchro is at 0, btw, dont make a bit of a difference.

Well, I guess I just thought the mag would leave me cause that's what I was told by others.
The AI for this game doesn't go that far,

Actually, the synchro determines what your mag will do for you in a battle. For instance, if teh synchro is high enough, as well as IQ, it may cast spells, even cast reverser when you die.

The spells any mag casts are determined by different statuses
And teh type of mag, not the synchro.
Some mags have a high chance of revival (angel wings)
Some mags have a high chance of granting invulnerability for a short period of time (sato)
Not sure what mag specializes in resta though :ermm:
But the higher the synchro, the higher the chance of it using its ability.
