lol, and that was a funny rumor about Sonic being a unlockable character in Smash Bros. But other than being superfast he wouldnt really have any moves.

why so many people like mario, because it jumps like a girl..no, no......then it must be the mustashe......the hat......humm..........i know.... the nose then.

Heh, as far as I'm concerned... Tails is better than Sonic, and so is the Mario of the past. The recent Mario has lost all his old style and needs to be dealt with... so Sonic is better than the current Mario... but Tails is the best of them all

But as far as sonic vs mario goes, Sonic has crazy emerald super powers, can fly, can turn hyper and in a flash kill everything in a screen. Mario however unless big does in a single hit, has no powers and is a generally useless and frustrating plumber. He has recently become alot better though, he has a personality now! In melee he is awesome, but I just cant like him in his 2d games. theyre just like sonic but with less depth. If thats what you want, a sonic game with no speed fast action and rubbishy physics, then good for you. I like the 3D special stages on sonic also, mario has nought like that!

tails on 2d games>>>sonic>>>>>>>>>mario. end of story. playing as tails on the old 2d games was absolutely class, now it just wont happen though its true that mario is good on smash, hes just a gay plumber basically. tails is the best, then sonic.

He is good but just too cutesy to have the cool factor, I like hyper knuckles quake attack to. I mean, tails has glowing birds that attack things? Talk about cutesy wild life crap!
