I realized that you can actually get the weapons on the game if you use a new memory card with no previous PSO saves on it, and play offline until level 120, or whatever level you may be comfortable going through EP2 seabed offline. Just remember that if you want to get the Parasite Gene "Flow" You need to beat him (And an insane amount of times, at that) offline, your memory card can never have gone online, otherwise sega would have put the patches for the game on your memory card.
