My fav char was Paladin i think, he was mega versatile. Every time Blizzard made a new patch, and cocked things up, you could always come up with a successful Paladin build; the builds are too numerous to list but my favourites were:
Fanaticism Zealer, with Charge and Holy Shield.
Frost Zealer, with Holy Freeze and lots of Crushing Blow & IAS totally raped.
Hammerdin, with Blessed Hammer and Concentration - the classic Paladin!
My character is a necromancer, I only just recently started playing it. I'm only level 8. On the third mission where you how to rescue Cain in Tristram. The monsters keep killing me and my clay golem. What level do you reccomend to actually stand a chance to survive there.
(Okay, you can laugh at me at will because I am stuck so early in the game!)

I think i started that mission with my necro at about level 10-11, and it still wasn't that easy
I used to have a levl 79 sorceress named Icemistres...she got deleted because I got bored of Diablo II and quit for a while...needless to say sorceresses are my faveorite class.
i need to check my account before it gets deleted because that would suck incredably!

actully he does, pulls off more damage than level 30 bone spear with one shot (even without amp damage)
i also got a monk paladin (think hellfire) which uses zeal a lot

ive had a char on almost every class but my good ones were bone nec orb sorc summon nec ele druid and i would have had a hammerden if it wasent so hard to hit stuff
I still think that Pallys are highly overrated. The only reason they get so much attention is that Blizzard made more of the Palladin specific uniques over the others. If any of you still play, ill duel you with either my Hammerdin or my Zealot.
