I've got a fairly low-level HUcast,...Does anyone have any ideas on the best weapon for it to use?
Try to think about the low, first level weapons, like daggers, swords, etc. Any pointers?
I th ink that swords are actually the best in the HUcast department, but if you are looking for speed, I would advise using Daggers.
No, I don't need speed. I just need the best weapon to level with that's not a rare.
Mabye a sword but since you are a HUcast you won't be as accurate. If you have over 124 ATP equip a partisan (Spelt wrong I think), not as much power as a sword but more accuracy and multiple hit. Using daggers should be left to HUceseal as she has the best acuuracy out of the hunters (I think).

I used to use it with my HUcast as well, since he has high HP the special attack on it is quite powerful. Where do you get a soul banish from? I think it is from Kireek in hard but I'm not sure.

No, it doesn't matter what difficulty you do it on, the Soul Banish is a whole different item, hence is a rare drop. The only drop I know of is Bluefull Mericarol, I believe.
Also Bluefull Deldepth, and Skyly Delbiter.
yes Bluefull Mericarol drops Sigh of a God, not Soul Banish.
Skyly is by far the easiest place to find one.
As a HUcast I suggest Chain Sawd, S-Red's Blade and Red Hangun, you won't ever need more.
For now, look for weapons with hit% any weapon with high hit% will become good with your HUcast's crazy ATP.
Slicers are the best way to clear areas fast with a hunter, mechguns help for stronger monsters/bosses, but remember with hit%
