I don't think this helps much... but

I can handle the ruins okay with my RAmarl of lvl 126, I've got the following equipment:

Final Impact with 45% on hit
Frozen Shooter
H&S 25 Justice with 25% on hit
Built Brightness Circle
God Power
God Mind
God Arm
God Body
Standstill Shield
Bhima 11/100/20/69

Together with Deband I've got around 1000 dfp and with Shifta I've got around 1525 atp with my Final Impact.

I find Caves really hard, but if you go for quick weapons, you might be able to pull through. This isnt coming fom experience, I havent got further than Caves 2!!

When i cast jellen (Lower the attack) i withstand a vulmers attack. But its too much to jellen every enemy!

You can only withstand it with Jellen?? You ought to be levelling up your character a bit more! First time I entered Caves the only things that could deck me were the Melqueeks and the Nano Dragons!

I think its just my defense, it stinks although i am a hunter
I need more DEF materials

Hunters should technically have quite good DFP as they are designed to be the pure close-combat characters. Check that your HP isn't too low as well.

i beat the ult caves boss with with my HUmar at level 73

That's either good equipment or one patient PSO player...

Im still having trouble, even with the accidental God/HP I nabbed from a Nar Lily in VHard mode. The enemies arent smashing me up so badly now, but those Nanodragons still rip me apart!!

on ultimate for the boss, when i tried using techs they didn't seem to work very well, so use a slicer, they kick so much ass against the caves boss
